Chateaux Clarettes, Thérapie Rosé, 2024
from £17.50

The 2024 Château Clarettes Thérapie Rosé is a classic Provence rosé - light, fresh and effortlessly drinkable, with great texture to keep it interesting.
Bright strawberry and cherry with a touch of citrus and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is dry, crisp and refreshing, with a gentle weight and a clean, lifted finish.
A Mourvèdre and Cinsault blend, bringing both freshness and a little more structure than your typical Provence rosé. Balanced and textural.
Ideal as an aperitif, but equally good with grilled fish, salads, or light Mediterranean dishes.

From hillside vineyards in the heart of the Massif des Dentelles de Montmirail, this wine undergoes a 2–4 week maceration under marc to draw out elegant tannins, followed by ageing on fine lees for added texture and depth.

Deep and intense with purple glints, it offers aromas of stewed black fruits, spice, and floral notes. The palate is powerful yet fresh, mineral-driven, and long, finishing with a saline edge and fine structure. Built for ageing 5–7 years or more, it pairs beautifully with game, richly spiced dishes, or mature cheeses. Decant before serving to reveal its full aromatic potential.

Hand-harvested 100% Sangiovese, spontaneously fermented for around 30 days with repeated pumpovers and a final maceration, then aged for 18 months in large 30-hectolitre oak casks before a further year in bottle. The wine is ruby red with garnet tinges, and the nose is pleasantly generous — blackberry, red berries, and sweet violet. On the palate it is well-balanced and fragrant, with soft, elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish. A natural partner to meat and game first and second courses, and a thoroughly excellent glass by any measure.
